In light of the Pope’s recent comments that God is not a magician, and that neither evolution nor the Big Bang are antithetical to belief in God, I thought perhaps this conversation with Charles Taylor from this past January in Boston would be topical.
hard to separate the idea of a Creator God who takes human form to bring about some fulfillment of creation from creationism/ID
Perhaps, but contemporary iterations of the latter are often part of impoverished notions (i.e. fundamentalism) whereas the former can avail itself of many more resources.
