My research focuses on environmental policy, ethics, and governance on a human dominated planet. I’m especially interested inhow spatial and temporal claims about the planet have historically been, and continue to be, used in projects of political legitimacy.
At present, I am working on two main projects that, each in their own way, build on a completed project linked to below (and which is encapsulated in my 2017 book):

(2) Water in India: from hydraulic society to automated water
